It had rich people, pedophiles, computer geeks, hackers, CIA and FBI, Agents in Thailand, prostitution and a very eager police chef with a sad family story. As I said could have been Did I mention the old boys club and their fixer? I enjoy reading books about the new age of hacking computers.

At first the idea scared me, but then I started realizing how smart these people are that do this, and the governments of the countries they live in to use their abilities for a good purpose.

Catching those that do it for bad reasons.

As far as first novels goes, Will Patching has hit the bulls-eye with The Hack. This story is a real page turner filled with action and suspense.

The characters are so lifelike that they are easy to like and root for, the heroes and heroine are people you want to see win out. Web Hacking 101

There was a warning at the start of the book regard violence and language. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved Kate and Johnny and Doug. Even Inspector Lee and Cody were stand out characters. Although the story was graffic unfortunately it realistic, and I mean very true to life. I really enjoy the story and hope Kate and Doug can see there way back to each other.

While there are several themes in the story, the one that really hit home for me is the downloading and selling of children as Sex slaves is a worldwide problem that needs to be stopped.

Kate and her younger brother Johnny manage to get themselves involved in a child pornography saga dating back many years to Operation Candyman. The president's apparent support of the worst of the bad guys provides enough reason for the CIA to join the hunt for Johnny and Kate in Thailand.

The "Hunter" who's battling his own demons falls hard for Kate while he assassinates multiple players in Thailand's child sex industry. Multiple twists and turns across thre Excellent story, very well written. Multiple twists and turns across three continents sees a fairly predictable ending.

This international conspiracy targets the child sex trafficking ring. An ex CIA operative who was thought dead leaves a trail of bodies as part of this story.

It was a little confronting at times but never crossed the line to become too hard to handle. I liked the story and was engrossed the whole time. Having just come from reading a couple of Reacher books, I thought this might be the same. But it was more intense and had more interwoven stories. Overall a good read and I think I'll invest and download the next book.
